Qualifications John Ronk

John has been involved with Plumbing in a variety of roles. He served his apprenticeship, studied and worked towards a full qualification and conducted his own business. But a teaching role suited him better. He is tertiary qualified with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Technology Sydney and has extensive experience in course and curriculum development.

Several overseas countries have benefited from his experience and today he is still involved with assisting Colleges and Polytechs overseas in establishing courses in plumbing.

  1994 - Bachelor of Education (Tech) at UTS (University of Technology Sydney)

  1982 - Diploma of Teaching (Tech) at Sydney College of Advanced Education

  Obtained Plumbing Trade and Post Trade Certificates at Canberaa Technical College

  Current Contractors Licence: L13344, Plumbing, Draind Gasfitter & LP Gasfitter

  TAFE (Technical And Further Education college) Workplace Training (Cat 2), Workplace Assessment and Oxy Acetylene Welding Certificates

  Local Govt. Building Inspectors Qualifying Subjects - Head Teachers Training Program

  1997 - Developed and delivered Solar HW course in Polytechnic Western Samoa.

  1985/87 - Senior Lecturer at Solomon Islands College of Higher Education.

  1979/80 - Building Supervisor/Estimator with bennell & Co. Coffs Harbour
